ScreenGeek
We built ourselves a film site. Isn't it lovely?
Having only launched at the back end of 2009, ScreenGeek had outgrown its WordPress template by spring this year. We needed to translate its existing style and branding to an ExpressionEngine installation, without changing the way the site worked a great deal.
We adapted the house template to accommodate larger images both on the front page and in articles, gave it the ability to host competitions and collect users' details, installed Disqus to handle comments, and created a custom Brightcove video for hosting trailers.
